How weapon names are structured
A weapon name pairs a grim element (Ash, Doom, Frost, Night) with a blade noun (fang, bite, edge, reaver), sometimes followed by an earned title: the Widowmaker, the Oathbreaker.
What makes a good weapon name
Legendary weapon names are short, hard, and evocative of what the weapon does or has done. A great blade-name sounds like it has a history written in someone else's blood.
Examples of weapon names
Doomfang, Frostededge, and Nightreaver are squarely in the tradition of legendary weapon names.
